The waiting is over! Last night was the preview and champagne reception for Cleo Dubois' new BDSM video, "Tie Me Up! Bondage Tips and Torments." Cuir Bleu’s Kalib helped to score this piece: taking on some of the audio editing, recording percussion and voiceovers, and providing some original music from Asylum Arts bands Audio Terrorist and Cuir Bleu. In addition, Ariane provided production assistance. The final video is nearing its release date, and the preview was well received and enjoyed. From what we've seen, it looks like "Tie Me Up" is on its way to becoming a fetish community hit.

Too bare to share? Asylum Arts artist Eric Wenger has released a wonderful new music video using his V-Track and ArtMatic programs. Dance sequences were taped at such diverse locations as the 2001 Burning Man event in Black Rock City, Nevada and San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair. The debut run of this video at San Francisco's 2002 Mac World Convention, caused a bit of a ripple as one event participant was apparently scandalized by the nude breasts being shown. Ah well, I guess you really *can't* please everyone after all... for more info on Eric's V-Track, ArtMatic and other electronic music-related software, check out www.uisoftware.com .
